SBV Post 862 Uniforms

         

The material contained on this page is aid you in obtaining the official Saddleback Valley (SBV) American Legion Post 862 uniform. The standardization of Post uniform was initiated due to membership and community request. The uniform directly represents not only the American Legion, but the Saddleback Valley as well. Community leaders requested that the SBV Post 862 design a uniform to be worn during community events that would aid in the recognition of the Post members.

The contents of the uniform pages will guide you in selecting uniform items and when it is appropriate to wear them. The uniforms range from a standard working uniform to a dress uniform that is worn during official ceremonies. SBV Post uniform regulations were derived from the American Legion Officer's Manual 2004.

Each uniform page will provide you with a brief description of the uniform, its use, and a hyperlink to where you can purchase the uniform item. To find the link to purchase a uniform item, simply click on the item and you will be directed to the web site for purchase. These web sites will be opened in a new window for your convenience.
